GROWING GREEN WITH THE HORT
We’re excited to partner with The Hort’s education team to grow and care for our school’s urban farm and indoor green wall! Students at UAGC will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in gardening, learn how to maintain green spaces, and even create plant-based self-care products. Through interactive sessions focused on planting, watering, and site care, students will build real-world skills and explore exciting pathways in green careers.
GREEN WALL PROJECT
Council Member Gail Brewer generously contributed to our school’s literal learning environment so that we could continue expanding our classrooms outside of the 4 walls and into the communal spaces within the school!
HAUNTED HARVEST
Green Careers will be hosting our first ever Haunted Harvest in our Learning Garden this year!

3:30 - 4:30 = Pumpkin painting (while supplies last!)
4:00 - 4:30 = Face painting (while supplies last!)
4:30 - 5:00 = Costume Competition!
5:00 - 5:30 = Candied Apples
